Child Safety on the Internet
Child Safety on the Internet is an extremely important issue for every parent. We have created this page in order to assist you in gathering the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively protect your children from the dangers of the Internet, and to enable her or him to develop in accordance with the course of modern society. Searching the Internet for information, we found a free manual “Web We Want” (link: www.saferinternet.org/c/document_library/get_file?uuid=10c06ff7-9263-4996-a7d3-116340b9fe6f&groupId=10137) – an educational handbook for use by 13-16 year olds, developed with and by young people. Teachers, parents and other educators can find supporting material on the issues and activities in the handbook at www.webwewant.eu, which will also serve as a platform where young people are able to present some of their personal responses.
